You don’t need to buy biscuits anymore and worry about your children (and you) eating various emulsifiers and other unhealthy things, and doing all of that to satisfy your cravings for sweet. These biscuits are the real deal and they are very tasty (they are tastier than the ones you buy), and they can stand for days in a glass or in a plastic box at room temperature. You get about 50 pieces out of this amount:
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 1 cup packed brown sugar
• 2 eggs
• 200 g butter (room temperature, softened)
• 1,5 teaspoon of baking soda
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (or 1 pack vanilla sugar)
• 1/2 teaspoon of salt
• 3 cups of all-purpose flour
• 200 g dark chocolate (or chocolate chips)
Mix sugars, butter, vanilla and eggs in a large bowl. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt (dough will be stiff). Stir and chocolate chips. Add chopped chocolate, and if you have chocolate drops, even better:

Heat the oven to 180 degrees C, while you are placing the biscuits on the baking paper that you put on the basking tray (I had two to work faster, while one is in the oven, I already prepared the other one for the oven), and put it roughly half as much as a half of a tablespoon or an ice cream scoop:

There must be a gap between each cookie, as they disperse during baking. They bake for about eight minutes until they become golden at the ends. When you take them out of the oven, leave them for two or three minutes to cool a little bit, then store them in a bowl in which you will keep them, because they are a little bit soft until they cool completely. A tip – do not cover them until they are completely cold, to become as crispy as possible.

They are great for taking as a snack or when your sugar is low, and they are most delicious with warm milk or tea.
